Syns First Liner User Thread owner 16 Oct 2025 #1 I forwarded port 25565 for a game server but nobody can connect. Is double NAT or CGNAT blocking me?
Solution CL4Y 16 Oct 2025 Verify your public IP, detect NAT layers, and ask ISP for a public IP or use a tunnel. Compare WAN IP in router with IP shown on whatismyip. If different, you likely have double NAT or CGNAT. Place ISP modem in bridge mode or enable DMZ to your own router. If CGNAT, request a static public IP or use WireGuard or Cloudflare Tunnel or Tailscale.
