If you want your websites to load faster and use server resources more efficiently, you can replace Apache with LiteSpeed Web Server.
LiteSpeed offers significant performance improvements, especially for high-traffic WordPress, forum, and e-commerce sites.

Installing LiteSpeed through Plesk Panel is simple and can be completed in just a few steps.

🔧 Installation Steps

  2. From the left menu, click on Extensions.
  3. In the search box at the top-right corner, type “litespeed”.

⚙️ Enabling LiteSpeed in PHP Settings

After installing LiteSpeed, you must ensure your PHP handler is compatible with it.
To do this, switch your PHP mode to FastCGI application.
Follow these steps to configure it properly:

  1. In Plesk Panel, go to the Subscriptions section from the left menu.
  2. Select the domain you want to configure.
  3. Click on PHP Settings.
  4. Under "PHP handler type", change it to "FastCGI application".
  5. Click Apply or OK at the bottom to save changes.
🔄 This adjustment ensures optimal PHP performance with the LiteSpeed Web Server.
