⚡ Installing LiteSpeed Web Server on Plesk Panel

Installing LiteSpeed through Plesk Panel is simple and can be completed in just a few steps.
🔧 Installation Steps
- Log in to Plesk Panel with a root-privileged account.
- From the left menu, click on Extensions.
- In the search box at the top-right corner, type “litespeed”.
- Find the LiteSpeed Web Server extension in the results.
- Click Install to begin the setup.
⚠️ During the installation process, your websites might experience short-term access interruptions.
Once the installation is complete, you’ll need to activate LiteSpeed as your web server and review the default configurations.
After this step, Plesk will begin using the LiteSpeed engine instead of Apache.

⚙️ Enabling LiteSpeed in PHP Settings
After installing LiteSpeed, you must ensure your PHP handler is compatible with it.To do this, switch your PHP mode to FastCGI application.

- In Plesk Panel, go to the Subscriptions section from the left menu.
- Select the domain you want to configure.
- Click on PHP Settings.
- Under "PHP handler type", change it to "FastCGI application".
- Click Apply or OK at the bottom to save changes.
