On our forum, private messages are called "Conversations." 🤫 This feature allows you to communicate privately with one or more members at the same time.
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to start a new conversation.

👤 Method 1: From a User's Profile​

This is the most common way to message a specific user.

1. 🔎 Find the User: Find a post made by the member you want to contact.
2. 🖱️ Click Their Name: Click on their username or avatar. A small user "profile card" will pop up.
3. 💬 Start Conversation: On this pop-up card, click the "Start conversation" button.

📥 Method 2: Using Your Inbox​

You can also start a conversation directly from your personal Inbox.

1. ✉️ Go to Your Inbox: In the top navigation bar, click on "Inbox" (it may also be an "envelope" icon).
2. ✨ Start New: On your inbox page, click the "Start new conversation" button.

✍️ Writing Your Message​

After following either method, you will be taken to a new page. Here's what to do:

1. 👥 Participants:
   • If you used Method 1, the user's name will already be filled in.
   • If you used Method 2, you must type the username(s) of the member(s) you want to message. You can add multiple names to create a group conversation.
2. 🏷️ Conversation Title: Give your message a clear and helpful subject.
3. ⌨️ Your Message: Type the body of your private message in the main text box.
4. 🚀 Send: Click the "Start conversation" button at the bottom to send your message.

That's all! 🎉 The recipient(s) will be notified, and you can view all your active conversations at any time by visiting your Inbox. ✅
