🔐 Automatic Let’s Encrypt SSL Installation and Renewal on Plesk Panel

Having an SSL certificate is now essential for ensuring your website’s security.
Thanks to Let’s Encrypt, Plesk Panel users can easily set up free SSL certificates and enable automatic renewals!
In this guide, we’ll explain how to install a Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate via Plesk and make sure it renews automatically. 🔒

✅ Step 1: Make Sure the Let’s Encrypt Extension Is Installed

Go to the Extensions section in your Plesk Panel.
Check if the “Let’s Encrypt” extension is already installed.
If not, search for it and click Install.

✅ Step 2: Install SSL Certificate for Your Domain

Navigate to the Subscriptions menu and select the domain you want to secure.
Click SSL/TLS Certificates.
Enter your email address, and if you want to include the “www” subdomain, tick the corresponding checkbox.
Finally, click Install.

♻️ Step 3: Verify Automatic Renewal Settings

Let’s Encrypt certificates are valid for 90 days, and Plesk automatically renews them before expiration.
No manual action is usually required unless you have disabled automatic updates or changed domain DNS configurations.

💡 Tip: To ensure smooth renewals, make sure your domain’s A and www records point to your server IP, and that the Let’s Encrypt extension is up to date.
